Good menthol/light cigarettes available in Ontario, Canada?

Hey guys,

Due to the new Tobacco Laws, I cannot see the cigarettes which I am about to buy. So could anyone please let me know what menthols are decent which are available in Ontario.

Also, I know that "Light" cigarettes are banned in Ontario, but does anyone know what types of lights cigarettes there are? (i.e. Marlboro Lights, etc.)

Please don't tell me not to smoke. I know what's good and bad for me.

In Canada now there are 'premium' smokes, for menthol you want Cameo or Craven M Menthol; at lower cost but the still just the same (to me) there is No.7 Menthol or Peter Jackson Menthol.

Whenever in the US I switch to Salem as the closest match; if you want Marlboro Lights you will likely find them at any tobacconists or smoke shop but not at the newsstands.

How many minutes should I smoke my e-cig?

When I usually smoke my cigarettes (Marlboro 100's), I don't really count how long I've been smoking. Since the e-cig isn't like a traditional cigarette how long do you recommend I smoke? Also, I'm thinking about buying my e-cig from [http://www.electroniccigarettesinc.com] I'm thinking of buying the "Vapor-King" brand. Do you think this is a safe website to buy from? Any feedback from people who currently use this brand and/or bought from this site?

I don't use the "Vapor King" brand, but follow the instructions you get with your e-cig. E-cigs give you nicotine without the tar and other toxic ingredients, but if you smoke too much you can get nicotine poisoning.

E-cigs are not smoking nicotine cessation products, but you can use them for that. They are not as satisfying as cigarettes, but they are not as dangerous. Smoke and stop for awhile and your craving for nicotine will diminish. Most e-cigs have nicotine "packages," so you can shift to a lower dose when you're ready.

Can you...?

roll a joint with a plain ol' cigarette paper? Im curious. Can you just remove the tobacco (i.e. a marlboro cigarette) and replace it with weed? Does it work?

What stupid laws are lawmakers currently trying to pass and why?

I heard they're trying to ban e-cigarettes. My only guess is to line Marlboro's pockets, but I have no proof.

Why do lawmakers sit around banning stupid things like smoking in your own car? What ridiculous laws are they currently trying to pass?

I've heard about banning smoking in you own car when children are present, what's wrong with keeping smoke out of your children's lungs. Why should they get lung cancer, because you like to smoke? E-cigarettes are harmless, and a good substitution.

Smokes That Are Good For You?

Electric Smokes? First of all are they bad to smoke? If so are the zero nicotine e smokes bad for you? Which brand of e smokes taste most like Marlboro or at least like a regular tobacco cigarette? Any help would be very helpful.

Smoke a pipe with good pipe tobacco. Pipe tobacco is not treated with the chemicals like cigarette tobacco is.

A Description Of The Blu Cigs E-Cigarette

The e-cigarette is rapidly gaining popularity with smokers. Because of their rising popularity, many companies have been started in the last few years to meet the demand for e-cigarettes. At first, most of the e-cigarette companies were located in China. However, there are now several American firms that have started to make and market the e-cigarette. Of the American firms, Blu Cigs, which is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, is becoming very popular with many e-cigarette purchasers.

The Blu Cigs e-cigarette uses technology similar to other e-cigarette brands. Like most other e-cigarettes, the Blue Cigs e-cigarette is not really smoked but instead is "vaped". That is because e-cigarettes do not burn anything. Instead, e-cigarettes vaporize liquid nicotine into a fine mist that is inhaled, hence the term "vape". The liquid nicotine, which is contained in a special cartridge, is turned into a mist by mechanism known as an atomizer. The atomizer in the Blu Cigs e-cigarette is powered by a small rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Like many other e-cigarettes, the Blu Cigs e-cigarette uses an Light Emitting Diode (LED) that glows when a user inhales on it, mimicking the effect of a real cigarette. But, unlike most of the LEDs used in other e-cigarettes, which typically emit a reddish or orange light, the LED in the Blu Cigs e-cigarette emits a blue light. The blue light gives the Blu Cigs e-cigarette a distinctive look, setting it apart from other e-cigarettes. It also serves as a cue to others that a real cigarette is not being smoked, which is important in environments where real smoking is prohibited.

It was at this point, that he asked me for a '***', that I knew what was on his mind. S - E - X. It was so obvious, and I don't even know if it was intended to be but, either way, I could tell by the way he accepted my packet of Marlboro Reds with a slight smile that he thought he was going to get it.
"Raaah...I haven't seen you since that night in the park." He commented, as if it had just occured to him. So this was his tactic - mention that night and see how I reacted in order to find out whether he was going to get it.
I gave what I hoped was an ambiguous kind of smile and lit my own cigarette.

Pretty good. I might read it. Depends on the rest of the plot. I like the writer's style, though. It's pretty good. It sounds British. I'm not sure if it is, but that's how it sounds. It's good.

How are electronic cigarettes as an alternative?

I am a seventeen year old who made a poor decision to begin smoking 6 or so months ago. I realize it was a bad decision to begin and I can openly admit I am very addicted. I go through an average of three packs a week. I heard word of electronic cigarettes and did some basic research on them. My basic questions are:

1. What would the best brand of E-cigarette be?

2. Where are refills available and how are they packaged?

3.How long does one reusable e-cigarette last? and how is it "recharged?"

I am aware that these questions can be answered by me doing my own research online, and I am continuing to do so independently, but it wouldn't hurt to have other peoples input while i research on my own. It'd be great if somebody else who uses them could give me some basic details, but feedback from anybody at all would be highly appreciated. I realize that my best option is to quit, but that's not what i'm intending to do. Thank you in advance to anybody who takes time to answer!

Yes, you should quit.
You can go into any drug store and purchase FDA approved NRT smoking cessation products such as gum and patches. You are old enough for that. The gum also comes in fun flavors which are seen as being targeted at children. Oh no, sorry, ASH and other anti-smoking nazis only see flavors as targeting children if its regarding smoking products not anti-smoking products. Silly me, I forgot - adults only like things that taste like crap! The patch may cause skin irritation from the adhesive as many smokers can attest to. Be advised that they do also contain the same trace carcinogens found in the e-liquid for e-cigs. Which the FDA saw fit not to release in their report.
You may also consult your Dr. about getting on Chantix - also an FDA approved method of quitting. Just be careful as one of the side effects are suicide. But, Hey - it might be worth the risk because if you continue to smoke - you're gonna die anyway right?
Once each state bans the e-cig (which is slowly in motion now) you won't be able to use it once you turn 18 anyway - so you will have the same two choices long time committed smokers have - which is Quit or Die. So good luck to you!

Sorry for the rant - just a little fed up with all the "dangerous" e-cig BS, ASH, and Government!

it has to not only have an affect on the people taking part but help raise monry for charities i.e. non smoking day is great. it makes them feel it when their cigarettes arnt there so they are more aware of it. any other ideas?

usps mail tracking help!!!?

i ordered An Electronic Cigarette from a company claiming to be from indiana, i ordered it the 12th, it shipped the 13th wich i was impressed by, the usps tracker says " foreign acceptance, accepted jan 14," it is now the 17th and it still says the same thing, the website said 7 day delivery, i was wondering what exactly the U.S.P.S website ment, and how it will be affected by this 3 day weekend, thank ya kindly =]

If you or no one else at your address received it and it stated "accepted Jan 14", then that means it may have been shipped to an incorrect address. You may want to call usps to see if they could track it further, which they should be able to tell you the address it was sent to.

What type of laywer sues businesses? I was a distributor for a company that gave me a harmful product to sel?

Basically I was a distributor for an unnamed electronic cigarette company. The company advertises that these products contain no cancer causing ingredients. Well, the FDA has just released a study stating otherwise. They sold me on the idea of being a distributor based on false claims about their product. Now, I could potentially be liable. What kind of attorney should I seek and can anyone recommend a good one in the LA area.
I think I can legally sue them for false advertisement. They advertise the product as having no cancer causing agents, and it has been proven that it does. I called one lawyer today and he said I didn't have a case because I haven't been damaged and another lawyer said I had a great case but he wants a $300 up front consultation fee (BS!).

You should hire a corporate lawyer and sue the company which lied to you and made you sell defective products, that way if someone sues you, you will already have an outstanding lawsuit against the parent company and eventually the claim would be transferred to the company.
