Electronic Cigarette Flavored Cartridges
Electronic Cigarette Flavored Cartridges

Can you switch back and forth with Electronic Cigarette cartridges?
All right... My question is about these Electronic Cigarettes. I just got a "Smoke Tip" and is pretty sweet! It came with various flavored cartridges and was curious if there are any consequences to switching back and forth between the flavors before they are empty... Example: Right now I decide to take a couple "puffs" of Coffee flavored cartridge then go back to work... Then in about 30 minutes I decide I wanna try the vanilla one for a few drags.... Then later on I decide to go back to the SAME Coffee cartridge... Will this damage the cartridge in anyway or negatively impact the performance? In case you are unfamiliar with this model, it uses the newer technology that has the atomizer built into each cartridge... If anything I would think you would run the risk of damaging the atomizer... help...
Hi Syrus,
I don't think there is a risk of damaging anything. Just keep the opened cartridges you do not use in a dry and cool place.

Are the non nicotine cartridges safe for the electronic cigarette?
Everytime I read an article about the electronic cig its bad because of the nicotine. I was wondering about the flavored non nicotine cartridges, noone talks about them. Thanks!
Nicotine isn't necessarily bad for us if used responsibly. It is no worse than caffeine when used in moderation. Unfortunately, the delivery system (the tobacco cigarette) is what is bad for us.
There have been tests done on the eliquids and all testing thus far has shown that the liquid is safe. All of the ingredients found within are all deemed safe by the organizations world wide. If you are allergic to propylene glycol, the liquid might be a concern for you. The allergic reaction is hives. So if you get hives, stop esmoking!
Since this is obviously a new product and long term tests have not been done, there is still the question of what happens with long term use. However, these have been on the market for over two years and there is yet to be a death or major injury reported. People have reported allergic reactions to the PG, but they simply switch to the vegetable glycerin base and are fine.
There have also been studies done on PG, showing it has some healing qualities.
With everything we know to be true about tobacco cigarettes, many users of the electronic cigarette simply believe that since the e-cig is made of approximately 20 ingredients vs. 1000-4000 (we are still unsure about this since we cannot get an actual ingredient list from cigarette manufacturers), that the risk is worth it.
